Vision:
S.A Alumni Association makes sure S.A Alumni are involved, linked and engaged to have a better interaction and regard with each other.

 Establishment of S.A. Alumni Association:

S.A Alumni Association was formally inaugurated in the year of 2005 which had its first batch. Alumni Association is administered by an Alumni Committee. The alumni association is very active in promoting interactions and camaraderie among the alumni, staff and the management. Besides helping the alumni in all possible ways, it also lends its support to the college to achieve its cherished goals, its vision and mission.

  Alumni association of the Department has been playing  a vital role in developing the student’s knowledge. An interaction program between the aluminies and the current year students is being conducted.  During this program career guidance towards the employability of students are discussed.  Various technical skills, which are desired by the employer at different domains, are also discussed for the benefit of the students.   The profile of the company in which the alumni’s working is also well discussed. This has immensely helped the students.

      Due to quality academic standard of the Department, the students of the   Bachelor of Electronics and communications Engineering program have been consistently performing well, securing good marks in University examinations.       The Department has maintained interactive linkages with the industry. 

      The faculty continuously motivates and provides guidance and counseling   to students in their overall development as globally competent engineering professionals capable of meeting the current demands of IT industries. The students are encouraged to participate in state and national level symposia. Due to quality academic standard of the Department, the students of the   Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering program  have been consistently performing well , securing good marks in University examinations. Students are also encouraged to work on industry relevant project work in leading companies like : HCL Technologies, TATA Consultancy, CMC Ltd,  HCL Infosystems  Ltd., Florida Software Solutions, Navo Infotech,  Vector Robotics and Technologies, Adept Technology, Integrated Circuit Solutions, Lemuria Technologis, Softech Global Solutions, Mindware, Winfocom Solutions,  Megasoft Ltd., San Soft Solutions, I2T2 INC,  Polaris, United Pro Software Solutions.  The Department has maintained interactive linkages with the industry. 

      As a result of these measures, over 70% of the College   students have been recruited by the leading IT industry through campus interview / recruitment made on the basis of applications made by the students directly. Several   students of the College  are perusing their higher studies  (M.Tech, MBA ,M.S programs) in India and abroad.

The 7th Alumni meet began at 9.00 A.M at Conference Hall @ MCA Block,
S.A Engineering College, Chennai on February 20, 2009.

The formal meeting began soon after the Prayer song. The members of the Alumni were invited to share their thoughts and experiences in the corporate sectors and in their life after leaving the college. Many of the Alumni shared their thrilling experiences, emphasizing the fact that the discipline they had learnt in the college helps them perform well in their work spot. They were thankful to the Management and the members of faculty for nurturing them while they spent their time in the college.  The students of 2008 batch, whose projects have been selected as the best projects of the year, were recognized and honored with certificates and gifts. And the function was successfully ended with the National Anthem.
