S.A. Engineering College (SAEC) was established in the academic year 1998-99. TUVNORD have accorded ISO 9001:2008 Certification recognizing the quality system of high caliber being implemented for the administration of the institution and achievement of its goals. Also National Board of Accreditation of AICTE has accredited all U.G courses. The college offers 6 U.G Courses and 6 P.G courses.

For setting up CRESE – Centre for Robotics & Embedded Systems Excellence in SAEC campus, the event of signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was taken place at GRT Grand in Chennai at 11 a.m. Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, the Director of SAEC, Mr. Hiral Sanghavi, Managing Director, Technophilia Systems, Mumbai & Mr. Ron Shell, Vice President, iCarnegie Inc, Pittsburgh, USA signed in the Memorandum. The Document was signed to offer 8 courses for engineering students one in each semester. The Technophilia & iCarnegie will provide all support for imparting high and technical education in the areas of robotics, embedded systems, artificial intelligence & machine vision. The students will be offered with certification upon course completion. CRESE membership offer technical courses, internships, project work, training on national and international competitions, seminars and opportunities for global scholars.
